Privacy policy

The short version: Fluffy keeps everything you log on your phone. We don't have an account system, a server or a cloud, so we never see your weight, your name or anything else.

Who we are

Fluffy is a weight tracking app for phones, made by the Fluffy team ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@fluffy.example.

What Fluffy stores, and where

Everything below is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone:

• Your weigh-ins: the weight, and the date and time you logged it.
• Your name, if you choose to give one. It is only used to greet you.
• Your settings: companion, colour palette, goal and starting weight, units, theme, landscape season, widget style and wallpaper choice.

We do not collect, receive, sell or share any of it. The app makes no network requests of its own, has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it works fully offline.

Permissions

• Android: Fluffy uses the system's wallpaper permission, and only if you turn on the Fluffy wallpaper. It asks before replacing your wallpaper. It does not ask for access to your photos or files.
• iPhone: apps can't set the wallpaper, so Fluffy offers Save to Photos instead. iOS will ask you before Fluffy adds a picture to your library.

Your home screen and lock screen

The Fluffy wallpaper never shows a number, so it's safe on a lock screen. The widget (Android) can show your current weight if you choose the "Companion + weight" style; anyone who sees your home screen can see it. Choose "Companion" to show only your buddy.

Backups

Fluffy has no backup service of its own. Your phone's system backup (from Google or Apple) may include app data, depending on your phone's settings. That backup is handled by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies.

Deleting your data

In Fluffy, go to Settings and choose Delete all weigh-ins, or Reset Fluffy and start over to remove everything. Uninstalling the app also removes all of its data from your phone. Since we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

App stores

When Fluffy is published, Google Play and the App Store may collect information about downloads and your device under their own policies. We don't control that, and it never includes what you log in the app.

Children

Fluffy is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

This website

This site has no cookies, no analytics and no forms. It remembers your colour, unit and companion choices in your own browser's storage so the page looks the way you left it; that never leaves your browser. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and shares your IP address with them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and describe the change here. If Fluffy ever started sending data anywhere, we would say so clearly in the app before it happened.
